In the future, plastic and organic waste will be processed into an oil mixture directly on site by the small AES plant. The oil can then be collected and synthesized into new plastics or used directly for energy. A retirement home can save around €18,000 a year in costs and amortize the system in around 5 years. Additional areas of application are in cruises, SMEs, or to rid the oceans of plastic.
